EDM Operator

The Wire EDM Operator is responsible for operating electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment to produce precision components according to specifications. Pay range: $20.00 - $27.00 DOE Set up and operate EDM machines Inspect parts produced to verify conformance to quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure proper operation Choose correct program and enter all necessary parameters into machine control Clean and conduct preventative maintenance of machines Keep equipment and work area clean and organized Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gauge, and indicators Other duties may be assigned What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Wire EDM machine Ability to read and interpret blueprints Understanding and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes Background in R&D, prototyping, or high-mix environments Commitment to safety and quality standards Hubbell Incorporated, its subsidiaries and affiliates, is an EO Employer AA: M/F/Veteran/Disability.
