CNC Machine Operator

Hourly Rate: $23-30 Overview EIS is a leading North American distributor of process materials, production supplies, specialty wire, and value‑added fabricated parts for electrical OEM, motor repair and assembly markets. We are seeking CNC Machinists to support our operations. Machinists produce parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine and adhere to quality and safety standards. Machinist Responsibilities Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner. Read and interpret basic mechanical blueprints proficiently. Properly and safely load and unload parts and raw material in CNC machinery. Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling. Perform tool wear offsets. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance on CNC machinery. Utilize and abides by ISO requirements and SIS safety procedures. Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Correctly utilize manufacturing system (Epicor) and perform daily tasks and production workflows. Correctly identify basic materials. Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality. Participate in required meetings and training. Machinist Qualifications 1 year previous machinist experience. High school diploma or GED required. Effectively communicate and understand job instructions in English. Basic math and conduct conversions to practical situations. Able to lift 45 lbs or less in a production environment.
