Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial. Experience Requirements 2-5+ years of welding experience preferred Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Manufacturing, fabrication, or production experience preferred Job Duties Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding techniques Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for production requirements Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication equipment Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members to meet production and manufacturing goals Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred. Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial. Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder and Fabricator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment. Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
