We are currently unable to sponsor.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in Power BI administration, Power BI development, Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, and data analytics. The Senior Power BI Developer will be responsible for Power BI tenant administration as well as assisting with designing, developing, and maintaining complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.ResponsibilitiesAdministration of the Power BI environmentDesign, optimization, and support of multiple MS SSAS tabular models that reside in Power BIEnsuring data security and compliance with best practicesTroubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reportsProviding training and support to end users on using Power BIKeeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trendsWork with Data Analysts in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboardsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in Power BI development.Hands-on experience with advanced Power BI features and integration with other Microsoft BI tools.Experience with MS SSAS tabular and multidimensional modelsProficiency in Power BI report and semantic model developmentUnderstanding of data modeling and data visualization conceptsExperience with SQL for data manipulation and extractionKnowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) Familiarity with data warehouse conceptsPerformance optimization leveraging various model optimization/debugging techniquesStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal / collaboration skills to work with business usersAzure and Cloud experience Georgia IT, Inc.
