Veterinary Technician

Job Overview Carriage Animal Hospital in Lombard, IL is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join a fast‑paced small animal veterinary hospital. The role supports patient care, client service, surgery assistance, and nursing care for hospitalized patients. Responsibilities Executing patient assessments and physical examinations. Performing phlebotomy and catheter placement. Ensuring radiology safety and proper technique. Monitoring anesthesia. Providing perioperative surgical nursing skills. Performing routine dental prophylaxis. Conducting basic laboratory procedures. Qualifications CVT or experienced veterinary technician with a dedication to outstanding client service and excellent patient care. Clinical skills and experience in the areas listed above. Schedule Full‑time or part‑time positions available with rotating weekends or flexible scheduling. Working days: Monday‑Friday, 8 am–6 pm; Saturday 8 am–2 pm. Compensation Base hourly range: $15‑$25.
