In the role of Senior Economist, we'll count on you to: Direct, plan and design research to aid in interpretation of and solution of complex problems with economic relationshipsConduct economic modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk or financial analysisStudy economic and statistical data in area of specializationDevise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniquesFormulate recommendations, policies or plans to aid in market interpretation or solution of economic issuesTake responsibility for marketing economic consulting servicesPlan and develop project activities with significant impact as neededPlan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and support staff as neededWork at local project sites and have regular client contact as neededPerform other duties as neededQualificationsRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in Economics A minimum of 10 years experience including staff management and development, client interaction and proposal writing Experience in Excel, Limdep, SAS, SPSS, Eviews and MS Access VB programming experience is a plus Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
