This position will be available at the New Johnsonville Plant location in New Johnsonville, TN. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Operations Strategy & PlanningCommunication and execution of business objectives, priorities and progress across the operations and maintenance areas.Develop short to mid-term plans, including improvement activities, and organize team members to execute the plans; ensuring availability of resources.Collaborates with plant manager to develop and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)Provide input to supply chain strategy to optimize asset utilization.Provide input to the 5-10-year site strategic plan which supports the business and corporate strategy.Drive the application of Lean principles including standard work, visual management, daily management systems, and structured problem solving to improve safety, quality, delivery, and costCoach and develop leaders at all levels to build capability in Lean tools and behaviors, ensuring lasting cultural change and performance improvementProductivityAlign areas with site strategic plan and vision; provide strategic leadership and direction as part of the site's leadership team to move plant to a world-class competitive position.Utilize performance tracking metrics to drive execution.Provides leadership for improvement programs and asset productivity best practices across the areas with the use of continuous improvement methodologies.Develops / maintains plant infrastructure capabilities, improvement and resource plans.Interfaces with key site and above-site personnel, e.g., Supply Chain Managers, Functional Managers, etc. on key matters related to the plant.Safety, Health, Environmental & Core ValuesSet expectations and hold people accountable for Core Value compliance (SHE/PSM, Ethics & Respect for People) and model the appropriate behavior.QualityResponsible for the managing processes and implementing best practices to achieve excellence in Quality.Through periodic Management Reviews, verifies and assures adequacy and effectiveness of the Quality Policy & systems to assure that products continually meet specifications.Ensures investigation of quality non-conformances are completed and determines disposition.CostDevelop and execute plans to meet the annual P&CO commitments.Reviews financial activity reports and statements to determine progress towards attaining plant cost (fixed & plant related variable) and capital objectives, making adjustments, corrections and plans in accordance with current conditions and business requirements.Morale, Talent Management & Capability BuildingDevelops a respectful work environment that fosters engagement of all employees.
