About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Business Data & Technology Management to take on a senior leadership role within the Markets division. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and overseeing the business's data and technology strategy, with a focus on data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong operational interface between the Markets, Technology, and Data organizations, and the establishment of a robust data plan that positions data as a strategic asset. Key responsibilities include leading the data strategy and governance initiatives, acting as a business advisor on data-related matters, and ensuring that technology roadmaps align with the strategic objectives of the business. Applicants must have significant leadership experience in a global Markets or investment banking environment, a deep understanding of market businesses, products, and operating models, and a proven track record in leading data and technology initiatives. The role demands technical capabilities in data querying and database management, as well as the ability to influence senior stakeholders across various functions. The Head of Business Data & Technology Management will also be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, and must possess exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
