Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician

Our client in Alabama seeks an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 90-day assignment. This role involves managing a schedule that includes one weekend per month and up to ten days of availability monthly. Responsibilities include 24-hour call, daily facility rounding, managing a variety of cases, performing deliveries, and providing comprehensive care. Practice Info Setting: Inpatient Call Schedule: Out of house call Staffing Mix: 5 RNs EMR: Cerner Responsibilities Perform amniocentesis. Conduct routine vaginal and low forceps deliveries. Make decisions for and perform C-sections, including complicated deliveries. Round on patients daily, accepting attached and ER patients, including underserved individuals. Manage GYN emergencies during ER call. Provide care for low risk and high risk pregnancies. Perform FHR interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE. Execute and interpret OB ultrasounds for Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic). Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
