About the Opportunity GSG is seeking a Web Strategist to join our dynamic team. This consultant will step into an established digital roadmap, partner closely with the Wealth CMO, product marketers, designers, analytics, content, and technology teams to execute strategic web initiatives and help define future digital experiences. The role will focus on improving customer journeys, driving conversion, establishing optimization practices, and supporting the launch of new wealth products. The ideal candidate is a digitally savvy, customer-focused strategist who combines web strategy, digital product ownership, analytics, experimentation, and marketing technology expertise. This person should be comfortable operating independently, challenging ideas constructively, influencing stakeholders, and turning business objectives into measurable digital outcomes. Responsibilities Own web strategy and digital experience roadmaps for customer-facing digital properties. Execute established digital roadmaps while partnering with leadership to develop future digital strategies and priorities. Translate business goals, marketing objectives, and customer needs into effective digital experiences. Partner with marketing, product marketing, creative, content, analytics, technology, and campaign teams to deliver web initiatives. Lead web optimization efforts including A/B testing, heat mapping, session analysis, user testing, and conversion improvement initiatives. Establish consistent optimization practices and reporting routines across digital experiences. Analyze customer behavior, website performance, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Improve customer journeys and conversion paths across digital channels. Support the launch and optimization of new digital products, services, and customer experiences. Partner with teams to ensure digital experiences align with customer needs, business priorities, and compliance requirements. Provide strategic recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to improve the overall web experience. Requirements 8+ years of experience in web strategy, digital product management, digital marketing, customer experience, or similar disciplines. Experience owning strategy for enterprise websites or major customer-facing digital experiences. Strong background in: Web optimization Conversion analysis Digital analytics A/B testing Customer journey optimization Experience developing digital roadmaps, managing backlogs, and prioritizing competing business needs. Ability to translate marketing and business objectives into digital experiences and measurable outcomes. Strong understanding of: UX principlesXXD Content strategy SEO Digital marketing Website performance optimization Comfortable partnering with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Strong communicator who can confidently provide recommendations, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions. Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. Must be comfortable actively using AI tools as a: Thinking partner Research and efficiency accelerator Optimization partner Marketing technology enabler Experience identifying opportunities to leverage emerging digital tools to improve customer experiences and team productivity. Required Tools / Platform Experience Experience with digital experience and marketing technology platforms, including: Adobe Workfront – required Figma – required Adobe Target or similar A/B testing platforms Heat mapping and session recording tools (Microsoft Clarity or similar) Web analytics platforms Enterprise CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager/AEM experience preferred) Preferred Experience Financial services, wealth management, retirement, asset management, banking, or other regulated industries preferred. Experience supporting consumer-facing digital experiences. Experience optimizing lead generation, customer acquisition, or conversion journeys. Experience working with legal/compliance stakeholders in regulated environments. Experience connecting paid media campaigns to landing experiences and customer journeys.
