Locums | Pathology - Anatomic & Clinical | Portsmouth, OH (OH or IMLC)### Why This Role

- Setting: Inpatient/Lab
- Start Date: July 6, 2026
- End Date: December 4, 2026
- EMR: MediTech
- Estimated Credentialing: 90 days
- Call Type: Beeper
- Response Time: 30 minutes
- OH license or IMLC accepted ### Requirements
- Board Certified AP/CP Pathology
- Active OH license or IMLC
- BLS
- Must be comfortable grossing
- FNA and rapid interpretation experience ### Clinical Details
- Approximately 200-250 slides/day split between 3 pathologists
- Average workload per provider: - 30-50 surgical cases/day - 10 cytology cases/day
- Case mix includes: - GI pathology - GU pathology - Breast pathology - GYN/non-GYN cytology - General surgical pathology - Limited hematopathology
- No autopsies
- Bone marrow/heme-path sent out to Integrated Oncology ### Rotation Structure
- Day 1: - Grossing - Frozen sections - Overnight call
- Day 2: - Readouts - IHC/Special stains
- Day 3: - Cytology - Bronch suite support### Procedures & Skills Required
- Surgical pathology
- Cytology (GYN and non-GYN)
- Bone marrow aspiration/biopsy interpretation
- FNAs with rapid interpretation
- Frozen section grossing/cutting
- Hematology
- Microbiology
- Chemistry/Serology
- Blood bank ### Support Staff
- 2 additional Pathologists
- 3 Histotechs
- 2 Tech Assistants
- 2 Cytotechnologists
