Job FamilyPractice (Digital) Job Description (Posting).Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions (storage, integration, processing, access) in AWS Architect and data movement solutions using AWS Glue Minimum 15 years of the following demonstrated skill/experience Hands-on experience with Application migration and legacy modernization projects Expert level skills with Data Migration strategies, including Change-Data-Capture Solid experience in working through complex data performance issues on both the mainframe and cloud platforms Thorough understanding of mainframe assessment tools, such as Micro Focus Enterprise Analyzer Deep understanding of designated market, key industry partners and trends in the marketplace Advanced communication skills including business writing and presentations; Advanced ability to present in-depth technical solutions Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as containerization Deep experience with various data stores, such as DB2, Postgres/SQL, VSAM Prepare documentation and designs for AWS data solutions and applications Responsible for creating and maintaining a formal data structures, data description and data architecture; this can include data models, data definitions (logical, physical, and conceptual), data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, etc. Data architecture comprises of topics such as business semantics, meta data management, meta data work flow management and data modeling. Understanding the customer's business s needs, system functionality and business processes to maintain the source data and develop the data design The architecture covers the data integration, databases and the means to receive the data. They resolve all types of design, test and data issues with the help of data dictionaries. They architect, design and implement small to large scale integration solutions adopting various technologies such as XML, J2EE and Java. Design and implement distributed analytics platforms for analyst teams Design and implement high velocity streaming solutions using Amazon Kinesis, SQS, and SMS Migrate data from traditional relational database systems to AWS relational databases such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, and Redshift Implement ad-hoc analysis solutions using Athena Propose architectures that consider cost/spend in AWS and develop recommendations or plans to right-size AWS data infrastructure A solid understanding of AWS storage solutions such as S3, EFS, and EBS. A solid understanding of AWS compute solutions such as EC2, ElasticMapReduce, and instance fleets. (1.)
