Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at client sites in Winston‑Salem, NC. Work Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 5:00am–7am at a client site in Winston‑Salem and 7am–2pm traveling to client homes. Wednesday 8am–5pm traveling to client homes, 1hour lunch. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other screenings. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Complete additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications At least 1year of phlebotomy experience. Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation. At least 21years of age. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
