- Position: Forklift Driver
Job Summary:
Responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move plants, pallets, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials and products.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and deliveries.
- Move materials to designated storage and production areas.
- Inspect the forklift before each shift and report maintenance issues.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work with warehouse, production, and farm teams to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Materials are moved safely, accurately, and on time .
- Minimal damage to products, equipment, and facility property.
- Forklift is operated and maintained according to safety requirements.
- Production and warehouse operations remain organized and efficient.
- 1-2 years of forklift/material-handling experience preferred.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse or agricultural environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
