Delivery DriverA Delivery Driver is responsible for the delivery of product with their given account base and territory. With more than 1,600 team members, we remain committed to excellence, innovation, and being our customers' distributor of choice.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:In addition to the tasks and functions specific to their designated route, this position has the following essential duties and responsibilities, subject to modification at any time with or without noticePre-trip and post-trip inspections completed on a daily basisDeliveries made in a safe and efficient mannerCommunicate effectively and with respect to customers and fellow associatesAssist the warehouse as neededMust be able to understand documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsSecure company property at all times including cash, checks and company vehicleMaintain a clean and effective workplaceOther duties as assigned by Operations ManagerQualifications and Requirements:Must have and maintain a valid standard Driver's license and meet insurance requirementsCandidates with a CDL must be able to pass a DOT physicalPass a drug screen and background checkMust be willing to work flexible shifts if neededMust have strong customer service skills and a strong understanding of DOT rules and regulationsMust have a positive, winning attitude and excellent attendance recordMust be a fast-paced individual with strong work ethicMust have strong communication skills both verbal and writtenRegular, consistent attendance is requiredMust be able to move or lift up to 165 lbs (pounds) on occasion and repetitively list 25+ lbs (pounds) throughout the shift. Spend work shift continually moving on your feet, climbing in and out of truck and up and down stairsRemain on your feet for extended periods, including walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and operating equipmentAbility to meet the visual and physical requirements necessary to perform warehouse duties safely and effectivelyWorking Conditions:This position operates in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. Consistent attendance and adherence to safety procedures are essential.
