NBA Social Content - Meta Lead

WORK OPTION The NBA currently provides eligible employees the option of working remotely one day per week. _________________ Position Summary This position is part of the NBA Social & Digital Content team which focuses on identifying, creating, distributing and publishing content to the NBA's social and digital platforms and its many domestic and international partners throughout the world. As the demand for content on the NBA's social platforms continues to grow, this is your opportunity to grow with us in a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative environment, reaching social followers around the world. The ideal candidate is an active user of Meta platforms and products (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, etc.) and is an expert on the on-platform features, latest trends and how to create optimized content for these platforms. This candidate also has their finger on the pulse of the NBA and spends their free time immersing themselves in podcasts, message boards and consuming short and long form content about the NBA. Major Responsibilities Own Meta platforms content strategy, publishing distribution, and platform performance across all NBA accounts. Identify and implement new Meta platform features, and opportunities that improve audience engagement and content reach. Develop platform-specific playbooks and publishing frameworks for Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. Mentor and develop platform publishers, establishing best practices, workflows, and quality standards across the Meta ecosystem. Analyze audience behavior, engagement trends, and platform performance to inform content strategy and optimization efforts. Partner with Content Planning, Content Creation, and Real-Time Content Command teams to ensure Meta priorities are represented in content development and distribution strategies. Present and communicate strategy and insights on a weekly and tentpole basis.
