Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the production support team, driving continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence. Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Mebane, North Carolina

Pay Range: $52

What's the Job?

• Develop methods, tooling, and techniques to reduce setup and changeover times for manufacturing equipment.
• Modify manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency, implementing design changes as needed.
• Manage capital projects, including equipment specification, installation, and coordination with outside contractors.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen activities, and document results to track progress.
• Collaborate across departments to identify process shortcomings and implement effective solutions using established change management practices.

What's Needed?

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical and/or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and automation.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Enterprise principles and engineering solutions development.
• Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, MfgPro, and Kronos.
