About Junior We're building cutting-edge LLM-powered tools that supercharge investment research for the world's most demanding deal teams. Our clients include several of the top 10 global private equity firms, Big 4 professional services firms, and leading consulting practices: organisations responsible for deploying billions of dollars annually. Junior saves clients an average of 10 hours per week, and we're expanding fast into new verticals including investment banking, hedge funds, and research firms. Role Description As a Summer Engineering Intern , you'll be embedded directly in our engineering team and own a meaningful project end-to-end. You'll ship real code, collaborate with full-time engineers, and present your work to the team at the end of the summer. This is not a passive learning experience — we expect you to contribute from day one. What You'll Work On Building AI-powered features using LLMs to process and structure unstructured research data Contributing to our Next.js / TypeScript frontend for client-facing products Working on data pipelines that turn raw investment research into structured knowledge What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Comfortable working in TypeScript / JavaScript — Next.js experience is a plus Curious about AI and LLM-powered products Strong communicator who can work closely with a small, fast-moving team Previous internship or co-op experience is a bonus, not a requirement What You'll Get $40/hr compensation Free daily breakfast/lunch — we have an in-office cook MacBook for the duration of the internship Dedicated engineering mentor Real ownership — your code ships to production Final project presentation to the full team Consideration for a return offer based on performance Visa & Work Authorization We welcome applicants who are authorized to work in the US, including: US citizens and permanent residents F-1 students on CPT or OPT Canadian citizens (TN visa) Irish citizens (J-1 intern visa) If you're excited about the opportunity to drive innovation at Junior, we'd love to hear from you!
