Dietary Aide$18 an hour with weekly pay!Job Summary:Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich is seeking full-time and part-time Dietary Aides to join our team! As a Dining Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We offer competitive hourly wages, weekly pay, and a supportive work environment.40 hours available on 6:30a-2:30p shift and per diem available on 3p-8p shift.Responsibilities:Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physicianEnsure proper serving temperature of food and beveragesDeliver meals on a timely basisMaintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishesAdhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stationsAssist the cook in monitoring meal serving timesAdhere to sanitation and storage policies and proceduresPerform other duties assigned by the dining directorRequirements:Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageMust be able to follow oral and written communicationMust maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of dining service areasMust perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned dutiesMust have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level they are currently functioningMust possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practicesMust possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general publicBenefits:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramEmployer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
