BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring energetic and reliable After-School Sports Coaches to coach elementary-aged students in fun, structured sports programming throughout the Syracuse area.
This is an excellent opportunity for college students interested in education, coaching, youth development, kinesiology, exercise science, recreation, or sports management. If you enjoy working with children and creating a positive, active learning environment, we#39;d love to hear from you.
We are currently hiring coaches for Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football programs.
Position Details
Part-time, after-school position
Monday through Friday
Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
1.5-hour sessions
$37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
No weekends
No lesson planning required
Curriculum and equipment provided

Responsibilities
Coach elementary students in Basketball, Soccer, and Flag Football activities
Follow BBA#39;s structured curriculum and lesson plans
Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment
Supervise groups of approximately 15 to 25 students
Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and participation
Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
Experience playing or coaching Basketball, Soccer, or Flag Football is preferred but not required
Comfortable working with children in grades K through 5th
Reliable transportation to schools throughout the Syracuse area
Dependable and punctual
Must successfully complete the required school district background check and fingerprinting process
