Associate Program Director - Behavioral Health

Your role as a licensed therapist requires evenings. The position requires in-person work Monday to Friday from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm.
The purpose of your role is to ensure the fidelity of clinician teams and business operations. Your focus is on maintaining effectiveness and efficiency while upholding quality, efficacy, and the OCD Anxiety Centers value drives within decision-making processes and professional conduct. Collaborating closely with the Program Director, your role contributes significantly to ensuring both staff and clients prioritize and achieve the highest standards of care and service.

Key performance indicators (KPIs) include symptom reduction, maintaining a minimum ALOS of 52, customer satisfaction, achieving early discharges of less than 10%, achieving less than 100 unused authorizations days per month, achieving a facility tour rating of 90% or better, and employee satisfaction by quarter of 4.0 or better. When you achieve any of the above key indicators, your supervisor will counsel with you to set a new goal.
Core responsibilities include engaging in 25 hours of face-to-face client interaction through mentoring, auditing, and individual sessions, maintaining a caseload of 4 or more clients based on facility needs, providing validation and a supportive environment for clients, collaborating with the Program Director on clinician effectiveness, program success, operational efficiency, and clinical KPIs, maintaining comprehensive written documentation, overseeing psychotherapeutic interventions for OCD and other mental health disorders, planning, organizing, and implementing evidence-based protocols for group settings, treatment coordination, and individual psychotherapy, working closely with the Program Director to ensure adherence to programming and operations, supporting the clinical team with problem-solving, providing clinical supervision and oversight for Behavioral Health Technicians, assisting the Program Director in organizing workflow and addressing identified problems, supporting and modeling OCD Anxiety Centers business processes, focusing on current and future developments, mastering de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management, adhering to company policies, acting as an Incident Commander, and performing other duties as assigned.
Leadership and management responsibilities include collaborating on motivational strategies and treatment plans, conducting regular reviews of treatment plans to minimize unused approved days and early discharges, managing and negotiating peer-to-peer reviews with insurance companies, implementing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and address concerns identified in surveys, generating and presenting regular reports on KPIs to evaluate progress, leading, training, and mentoring staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, achievement, and respect, overseeing clinical integrity, referral management, and facility budget, ensuring staff training and achievement of standardized KPIs, conducting Train the Trainer coaching, audits, and floor training for clinical fidelity, monitoring productivity, and providing feedback, managing time cards and requests for direct reports, engaging with employees for training and skill development, and fostering a positive work environment by actively supporting teamwork, encouraging open communication, and modeling a collaborative and respectful approach to interactions with colleagues and team members.
The skills and expertise you have include a master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, Pd.D, Psy.D, fully licensed in their practicing state, 3-5 years management experience, business acumen, presenting self in a professional manner, being punctual and maintaining excellent attendance, being organized, detail-oriented, taking initiative, and completing job responsibilities independently, multitasking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills, thriving in a changing work environment including inside, outside, and loud noise level, accurate and efficient electronic data entry, proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software, and physical demands of the job include sitting at a desk or table for extended periods, bending, lifting, and walking.
Preferred qualifications include 2+ years' experience in mental health position, 2+ years' experience in supervising/management position, leadership skills, OCD and anxiety experience, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy experience.
