Maintenance Technician

Maintenance ManagerResponsible for providing maintenance of all JESPY propertiesEvaluate the need for renovationsEstablish budgetary guidelines with the Director of Operations for repairs and capital improvementsObtain estimates for all contracted work on JESPY propertyMonitor all project progress through completionCoordinate purchase and maintenance of all JESPY vehiclesCooperate with the state agencies in any inspection or investigationPerform a variety of plumbing maintenance, carpentry, and painting functionsAssist in the preparation and administration of the program budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expendituresRequest cash as needed for weekly programming and resolve cash disbursements with the finance departmentMonitor and track any expenditure on the supplied credit card and report all expenditures to the finance departmentIdentify donors or companies that may donate supplies for various programsDeveloping and maintaining metrics relative to service delivery and departmental performanceOther duties as assigned by the Executive OfficeCustomer/Client FocusTechnical CapacityEthical ConductCommunication ProficiencyResults DrivenInitiativeCollaboration SkillsAdhere strictly to HIPAA requirements and all agency confidentiality guidelines.Establish positive, balanced relationships with clients, as demonstrated by:treatment of individuals with respect and dignity and in an age and culturally appropriate manner.a commitment towards the individual's rights and responsibilities; andestablishment of clear boundaries that allow for productive interactions.Other responsibilities that may arise within the job scopePlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devicesExperience performing routine maintenanceStrong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC a plusSkilled in the use of hand and power toolsAbility to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessaryAbility to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, ad wrenches,Strong organizational and follow up skillsEye for detailProfessional presentation and attitudeStrong time management skillsThis is a full-time position, and hours of work and days may varyWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
