Quality Control Clerk – Lee's Summit, MO This role involves compiling and recording production data to compare records and report on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production. Position Responsibilities Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed procedures. Calculate types and quantities of items produced, materials used, quality control and assurance methods, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets. Write production reports based on compiled, tabulated, and computed data, following prescribed formats. Maintain files of documents prepared and compile detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products. Perform document conversion, create files, maintain records, destroy documents, manage records storage, and perform mailroom functions. Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures and apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions. Perform document scanning. Transfer in/out files and perform physical interfiling. Perform data entry to update reports and databases. Answer and record incoming phone requests. Handle back‑to‑stacks and use RAILS/CIS/CPS. Process requests for files. Conduct batch audit/electronic merging of files. Load and unload boxes of files from trucks and shelving. Use repetitive wrist and hand motions to remove and/or insert staples in files. Abide by all company safety regulations. Position Requirements U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency. High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 18 years of age. Minimum of 2 years related experience. Pass pre‑employment drug screening. Pass post‑offer employment physical abilities test. Pass government background security clearance check (includes a credit check). Ability to retain a Government public trust security clearance level. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Ability to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods. Visual ability to see objects closely as in reading and using a computer monitor. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Meet and maintain production and quality goals. Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs repetitively; push/pull and transport objects using assistive equipment on a repetitive basis. Bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, use repetitive hand/wrist motions, withstand heights, stand/sit for prolonged periods, and assist with unloading and receiving inventory.
