Program Manager

Overview We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK (OKC). Responsibilities Oversee and manage mid‑size and large programs and projects ($100 million – $2 billion of owner capital expenditures). Manage programs aligned to business objectives for key clients. Coordinate resources, budgets, schedules, and ensure successful deliverables across projects. Serve as primary project interface for clients, reporting to the Senior Program Manager on larger programs. Based in OKC; lead business development primarily in the Central region and support development efforts in other U.S. regions: Northeast – Philadelphia, New York Mid‑Atlantic – Washington, D.C., Charlotte, NC Central – Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio West – Denver, Las Vegas/Henderson, Los Angeles Develop a marketing and strategic plan for the Central region with a multi‑step tactical plan to assess and report progress. Have prior experience with major city and state agencies, large suburbs, and/or relevant counties in metro areas. Identify and pursue a pipeline of potential project/program opportunities. Manage program planning, execution, and reporting for multiple programs. Coordinate internal and external resources for program success. Lead risk management, change management, and quality assurance. Support financial tracking and ensure sustainable margins. Build and maintain client relationships, acting on feedback and change requests. Serve in both lead and support roles on large programs across Water, Buildings & Places, Cities, Aviation, Transit, and other markets. Demonstrate experience leading or supporting program‑management best practices or centers of excellence within an engineering organization. Perform critical demands of a local program manager, including: Travel may be up to 50% depending on workload and assignments. Willingness to report onsite to the client’s location up to five days per week as directed. Qualifications 15+ years of professional experience; 10+ years in project or program management, including substantial experience with multi‑project delivery. Experience developing best‑practice reporting and monitoring capabilities through standardized reports and dashboards focused on project delivery and program management. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, architecture, or a related field (graduate degree preferred, MBA a plus). Professional registration in the field of practice desired or required where applicable (e.g., PE, AICP, RA, RLA). Certification as PMP or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) desired within one year of hire. Rewards & Benefits Medical, dental, vision coverage. Expected compensation range: $175,000 – $200,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and location.
