Overview: LHH is partnering with a respected and growing business law firm in Winston-Salem, NC to identify an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join its Corporate and Commercial Real Estate practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who enjoys supporting sophisticated transactional work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with corporate governance, entity formation, regulatory filings, contract management, and commercial real estate transactions, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while working closely with attorneys, clients, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Draft, edit, proofread, and format corporate, transactional, and commercial real estate legal documents. Maintain corporate records, minute books, entity documents, and other legal records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and file documents related to the formation and maintenance of corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and other business entities. Assist with state and federal regulatory filings and ongoing corporate compliance requirements. Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, organization, tracking, and execution support. Conduct due diligence reviews, including analysis of organizational documents, contracts, and corporate records. Provide transactional support for commercial real estate matters, including document preparation, coordination, and closing binder organization. Maintain calendars, deadlines, filing requirements, and other critical corporate and transactional milestones. Communicate professionally with clients, outside counsel, government agencies, and internal team members. Organize and maintain electronic and physical files to ensure efficient access to corporate and transactional records. Coordinate document deliveries, filings, signatures, and related administrative support tasks as needed. Perform additional legal and administrative duties in support of the Corporate and Commercial Real Estate practice groups. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of corporate and transactional paralegal experience. Experience supporting corporate governance, business formations, corporate compliance, and commercial transactions. Commercial real estate transaction experience strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree with relevant experience will be considered. North Carolina Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain. Strong knowledge of corporate recordkeeping, entity maintenance, and regulatory filings. Excellent drafting, proofreading, and document management skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
