Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our Operating Room team at the Main Campus. This role supports high-acuity inpatient cases and is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Role Overview The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based nursing care in the Operating Room and works collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiology, and the multidisciplinary care team to support complex inpatient procedures. Nurses in this role are responsible for scrubbing and circulating and will support a variety of cases rather than performing repetitive procedures. Qualifications Candidates must hold a New York State RN license and a BSN. Prior Operating Room experience in an acute care, inpatient setting is required. Scrubbing and circulating are required skills. CNOR certification is preferred but not required. Core Skills Proactive and reliable team player with a strong dedication to patient care. Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress, high-acuity situations effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Schedule Three 12-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, with flexible coverage between 7:00am and 11:30pm. Per Diem schedule: 4 minimum shifts per quarter. Location Main Campus (1275 York Avenue) with the ability to float to the Josie Robertson Surgery Center as needed.
