Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist float to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple locations in the Kingwood and Spring, Texas areas. This role involves rotating schedules Monday through Friday plus Saturday, with opportunities for skill development and career growth through exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other diagnostics
- Maintain accurate patient information and specimen logs in system
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and arrange billing collection
- Travel to additional clinic sites as assigned and provide customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Proven exceptional customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
