CNC Machinist

Gpac just partnered with a rapidly growing Manufacturing company that is seeking a full time Machinist. Direct hire for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts open. Plenty of OT available, but not mandatory. Responsibilities Experience with Mills and Lathes Inspect parts manufactured using required gages or gages provided, meeting routing requirements, drawing dimensions, quality plan dimensions and SPC chart tracking. Perform posted maintenance on equipment as required. Maintain paperwork and documentation and verify for correctness, while reporting errors to supervisor. Utilize provided documentation (setup sheets, quality plans, and routings), to gather and organize all equipment needed (fixtures, lathe jaws, drill presses, tooling, inserts, etc.) to be able perform setups in a minimum amount of time. Perform setups within posted rates with minimal scrap, and minimum machine spindle down time.
