Job Responsibilities
- Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and design individualized therapy strategies that assist them in reaching their functional aspirations.
- Conduct Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work seamlessly with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure holistic patient care.
- Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their families about therapy techniques to ensure continuous progress at home.
- Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Engagement in continuing education or postgraduate certifications is encouraged and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is essential.
- A deep-rooted passion for helping individuals reach their maximum independence.
- Effective and empathetic communication skills when interacting with patients and team members.
- Creative thinking and adaptability to cater to diverse needs.
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating within a close-knit, interdisciplinary team.
