About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required, Telemetry experience required License: Massachusetts RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Willingness to float to any Medical Surgical unit required Completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course strongly required Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload or during the interview will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted; less is preferred. Travelers may not take all holidays off. This position does not support 36-hour guaranteed time. Ensure that your profile includes all required documentation. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. The facility will not approve scheduling requests made after the time of offer or during the interview. Travellers must include their permanent address in their profile to avoid delays in processing. Travelers should ensure they can be reached and have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail will be redirected if the facility reaches out. Unit size is between 20 to 34 beds, depending on the unit. Patient ratio is typically 1:6. Dress code consists of personal scrubs of any color. Every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required as needed.
