Groundskeeper

FULL-TIME GROUNDSKEEPER The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior appearance and cleanliness of this high energy community with 240 apartment homes in California, MD. You will ensure the grounds and common outdoor areas are well‑maintained, safe, and presentable at all times. As a Groundskeeper, your primary responsibilities include: Mow, edge, and trim lawns on a regular schedule Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and landscaping features Pulling weeds, raking leaves, and debris removal Watering grounds and plants as needed Trash pick‑up around exterior of property daily Sweeping sidewalks, curbs, and common outdoor areas Clean and maintain pool area Check and remove bandit signs daily Shovel snow and assist with snow removal as needed Power wash building exteriors, sidewalks, and patios seasonally Perform minor repairs to fencing, gates, and outdoor fixtures Monitor and maintain outdoor lighting Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) Assist maintenance staff with various projects as requested Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to Property Manager What You Bring to Us 1-2 years of groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and seasonal maintenance Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment safely Availability for emergency situations at the property, including snow removal Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to emergencies Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor Good communication skills both written and verbal Basic understanding of grounds safety practices What We Bring to You The Dolben Company is a dynamic real estate company with a family inspired culture developing and managing best in class communities throughout NE, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest FL. Compensation levels are determined in accordance with the employee’s qualifications and experience.
