Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Bradenton, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. You will deliver respiratory care across a range of acuity levels including trauma and critical care settings. Expect collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, participation in respiratory protocols, and operation of advanced ventilatory and noninvasive respiratory support equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapy license in good standing.
• One year experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or STABLE certification.
• Experience with critical care ventilators and respiratory devices such as Servo I, GE ventilators, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Experience working with Meditech electronic medical record preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two or more years of ICU or higher-acuity respiratory care experience.
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center or similar high-volume hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–19:00.
