Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform imaging procedures using various radiologic equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care and accurate diagnostic results.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a variable schedule from Friday through Tuesday, with morning or evening shifts based on weekly assignments.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice: Required in California
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in Oregon and Hawaii, Preferred in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in California if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required in California if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials

Facility Specific Licenses/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
