Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Lead Dishwasher to oversee the dishwashing area while working alongside the team to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and help ensure kitchen operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the dishwashing team during each shift.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean kitchen items.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Train new dishwashers on proper procedures and safety standards.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including floors, trash removal, and equipment cleaning.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a hot, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
