The perfect candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter who can directly support the Manager of Accounting, Director of Accounting, VP of Finance and CFO with all aspects of the revenues generated within the company. This individual should be able to lead accounting/financial projects and be able to effectively communicate with management and other functions within the company, as well as auditors and other third parties.We offer a competitive compensation package (salary plus bonus) along with full benefits and a stellar work environment where we empower each individual to make contributions that have impact on our company's continued growth and success.What you'll be responsible for:Support the month-end close activities including journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and preparing and analyzing financial statements and reportsExecute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables relating to income and commissions expensesInspect all activities of general ledger that are revenue related in all departments in the companyHandle the checks and balances of revenues generatedCollect and review incoming reports from processors and banks for accuracy. Prepare corresponding entries.Calculate and report merchant level detail reportsResearch and analyze merchant pricing agreements for billingCreate manual billing invoice for new products or special chargesWork directly with clients and ensures that all payments by clients are duly received on time as agreed, without delayManage outstanding A/R balances by routine review of aging reportsDevelop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgetsPrepare reports and answer questions for outside auditCreate new processes to improve financial efficiencyReport analysis and findings to management teamSpecial ad-hoc projects as requested by senior management upon requestSkills and experience you should possess:Bachelor's degree in Accounting is requiredMinimum five (3) to seven (5) years of accounting and finance experience in an entrepreneurial, high growth, rapidly changing environmentExtensive experience with general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and the month-end/year end close processFundamental knowledge of GAAPStrong understanding of financial statements, as well as financial conceptsHands-on experience with accounting software packagesAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesFanatical focus on attention to detail and accuracy in dead-line driven environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be a self-starter and team player with ability to operate under minimal supervisionPositive attitude with highly motivated personalityOther Qualifications:Merchant Services / Payments Industry experience is a strong plusFamiliarity with SalesforceNetsuite experience a strong plusWhy Join Repay… Because Culture Is EverythingGrowth & People-Centered Leadership As the industry-leading financial technology provider in the Consumer Finance and Business to Business spaces, we continue to set the standard for application development and delivery.
