About the Position

Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) and X-Ray Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2+ years current CT Tech experience in a hospital setting required 2+ years current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting required License: New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Clienttion Therapy License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT Must-Have: High proficiency in both CT and X-Ray specialties Proficiency and experience with fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm Experience working with all age groups Previous travel experience preferred Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of the body requested by the physician. Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures. Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance. Operates film processing equipment. Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings including the operating room and emergency room. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills required. Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs, business casual with a lab coat, and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings are allowed. Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and closed-toe shoes are required. Requests for time off during this assignment must be noted upfront and will not be approved post-upload or during the interview. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted.
