Job Summary

A company in Conroe, Tx is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop Technician to join our team. This position will support day-to-day shop operations and assist with hands-on mechanical and equipment-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general shop and technician duties as assigned
• Assist with mechanical and equipment-related tasks
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with the movement and handling of materials and equipment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support technicians and other shop personnel as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

The following skills are recommended but not required :

• Mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude
• Basic electrical skills
• Forklift experience
• Overhead crane experience
• Previous shop, industrial, or manufacturing experience

Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
• Must be willing and able to work overtime during the week and on weekends when needed
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work safely in a hands-on shop environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Location: 77385
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Required as needed, including weekday and weekend overtime
