Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company in Alamance County is seeking reliable Press Room Helpers to support its printing operations. In this role, you will assist with operating press and folding equipment, changing paper rolls, and keeping the work area and machinery clean. The ideal candidate has previous production experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with operating press and folding equipment
• Change paper rolls and prepare equipment for production runs
• Clean and maintain machinery and the surrounding work area
• Read and follow work orders while helping resolve discrepancies
• Report production errors or equipment concerns to the First Press Operator

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment
• Ability to speak, read, and write English to understand work orders and safety instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a fast pace
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds consistently
• Ability to bend and stoop as required
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to complete required pre-employment drug screening and background check

The base pay range for this position is $15 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
