Registered Nurse - Cardiac Specialty Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15).

Join our team in a 30-bed cardiac specialty unit. We are seeking experienced registered nurses to provide high-quality care during the overnight shift. Nurses will be responsible for managing a team of 6 patients with a focus on cardiac conditions, including the administration of specific cardiac medications and managing patient telemetry.

Caring for patients in a cardiac specialty unit.

Administering and managing non-titratable cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Amiodarone.

Monitoring telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Providing patient education on medication management, including diuretics and anticoagulants.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry unit preferred.

Must hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
