School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 School Year in Detroit, MI
TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate School Psychologists interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year in Detroit, Michigan and surrounding communities.
We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
As schools begin planning for the upcoming academic year, this is a great opportunity to connect early, learn about anticipated needs, and position yourself for school-based roles for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible for Michigan School Psychologist licensure/certification
- Specialist-level degree (Ed.S., Psy.S.) or higher in School Psychology
- Must be eligible for Michigan Department of Education (MDE) school-based certification
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams
Experience
- Experience providing psychological services in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and Michigan special education compliance standards
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Ability to develop and support IEPs, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and student support strategies
- Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families
