Receptionist / Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Title

Looking for self-motivated individual who has good communication skills, that is a detailed oriented person that can multi-task, adjust well to change and a team player. You will be working in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include weekly data entry and validation, customer billing, collections.

Minimum Requirements

Strong knowledge of MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry required. Must be able to fluently read, write, speak and comprehend English. Based on the nature of the work at Standard Utility, even if not driving company vehicles, all employees are required to have a valid Texas Driver License in good standing throughout their employment with us.

Preferred Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of data entry or accounts receivable experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to move freely, including ability to stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted. Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.

Skills

• Data Entry by Touch and 10-Key by Touch
• Computer software skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint
• Honesty (dealing with cash) no criminal history related to financial transactions
• Organized and self-motivated
• Regular, dependable attendance
• Availability to work in office 5 days/week
• Work in enclosed air-conditioned / heated office environment
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher
• The ability to closely pay attention to detail ensures records and reports remain accurate.

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm 100% in office 40 Hour Work Week
