(R)(ARRT): RequiredAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states, Preferred in othersBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: RequiredVenipuncture certification: Preferred in certain statesAt least two years recent experience in the fieldCurrent nursing license per the state of assignmentRoles & ResponsibilitiesOperates computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes.Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data in compliance with confidentiality regulations.Conducts routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images for radiologist interpretation.Compliance / NotesAll associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
