Our organization is on the lookout for an Outpatient Urologist to become a part of our team at Parkland Health Center located in Farmington, Missouri .

This position is a full-time role focused entirely on Urology, supported by a well-established multi-specialty clinic team. Farmington, situated just an hour away from St. Louis, Missouri , offers a charming small-town atmosphere while providing easy access to urban conveniences.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

The physician will deliver professional medical services within their specialty, focusing on direct patient care while also dedicating time to complete related tasks such as medical record documentation, MyChart consultations, patient education, and collaboration with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical care of a patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care, either through regular rounds or by coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and care team members to ensure optimal patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and any other outreach sites as needed.
• Conduct and document medical histories and physical examinations in accordance with hospital bylaws.
• Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient care, adhering to organizational policies and medical staff bylaws.
• Collaborate with and mentor advanced practice providers and support staff involved in patient care.
• This position is classified as safety-sensitive, requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Medicine

Experience

• Less than 2 years

Supervisor Experience

• No supervisory experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in the relevant specialty
• Licensed Physician

Preferred Requirements

Experience

• 2-5 years
