HR Training Specialist

General Responsibilities: The Training Specialist coordinates learning and development for all staff, with a primary focus on end-user training related to the electronic health record (EHR). This includes coordinating training schedules, developing and maintaining training curriculum and offering innovative delivery methods. The Specialist also supports staff use of the learning management system (LMS) Relias. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or discipline (human resources, information technology, or health care services) or relevant experience in workplace learning and development.
• Effective communication, presentation, writing and interpersonal skills.
• Effective computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to draw conclusions and develop reports.
• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a changing environment.
• Requires local travel to office sites, valid driver's license, means of transportation and proof of insurance.

Work Schedule Demands: The Training Specialist position is full-time. Daytime hours (M-F) with some evenings and weekends for special events. The position is primarily remote, with some on-site training and meetings necessary. Communication Skills:

• Effective written, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
• Strong team orientation and willingness to work collaboratively.

Confidentiality of Information: This role includes responsibilities that afford access to confidential information including patient records, financial information, and employee records. Compliance with confidentiality standards is essential. Significant Job Functions Training Specialist

• Facilitate new employee orientation and ongoing training related to electronic health record application, workflows, required safety training and other curriculum.
• Coordinate training schedules; develop and maintain training curriculum for live and web-based learning and other innovative delivery methods. Maintain curriculum and staff training records in web-based learning management system (LMS)
• Participate in team efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the team.
• Maintain ongoing understanding of EHR application and its use, including participation in version upgrades, testing, and development of training materials.
