This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour days with a 40-hour guarantee. Weekend coverage required every 4-6 weekends.

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech therapy services to clients in a home health setting. This role includes the provision of direct patient care, collaboration with other team members, and participation in developing comprehensive plans of care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Utilize knowledge of rehabilitation equipment, language aids, and communication devices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
• Active Massachusetts Speech and Language Pathologist License.
• Valid Driver's License and personal vehicle required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
