Assistant Manager for Round Rock LIHTC Property

A growing property management firm is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in the daily operation of our property Townhomes of Double Creek in Round Rock TX.The assistant manager should be an organized, outgoing and friendly professional who supports the community manager in all aspects of property management. The focus of this position is to ensure the effective operation of the apartment community. This role is responsible for keeping accurate property records, leasing available units, tenant retention and assumes a leadership role in the absence of the Community Manager.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Maintain excellent customer service, delighting resident with proactive service and quick, accurate response to enquiries and requestsCollect rents and other receipts; Post and deposit rental and other income within 24 hours of collectionMaintain accurate records of all community transactions e.g. rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-in/move-outs, etc.Perform collection proceedings, eviction, and utility cut-offs as required on delinquent rents in a timely mannerEnsure that invoices are input and coded into the Accounts Payable for payment in a timely mannerEnsure all lease files are complete and continue to keep them current; maintain dead files in proper conditionPrepare and deliver all delinquency, eviction, and Notices to VacateReview lease files prior to move-inSchedule renewals or move-outsMaintain a resident retention plan by contacting lease renewals 65 days in advance, inspect community at least weekly (walk your property) and ensure all potential liability issues are corrected in a timely mannerConduct and supervise monthly market studiesAssume Community Manager’s responsibilities when not availableWHAT WE NEED:2+ years in Multifamily property management, proven track record of successExperience with Yardi property management software, strongly preferredStrong admin and communication skillsTax credit experience, requiredBilingual, requiredValid driver’s license, requiredSuccessfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test, requiredCOMPENSATION:up to $26/Hr, Negotiable depending on role and experienceMonthly renewal commission and bonus opportunitiesBENEFITS:Rent discount options (eligibility requirements may apply)Medical, dental and vision benefits packages, company paid life insurance and 401(k)Paid holidays and vacation time #J-18808-Ljbffr
