If you have experience leading people in restaurants, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another fast-paced environment, we'll provide the training you need to become a McDonald's Shift Manager.

Our paid leadership development program prepares motivated candidates for promotion into Shift Management, with opportunities for continued advancement into Assistant Manager and General Manager roles.

• Previous supervisory, shift lead, or management experience

• Restaurant, retail, hospitality, customer service, or food service experience

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

What You'll Do

During your paid training, you'll learn every aspect of restaurant operations, including:

• Customer service excellence

• Food safety and quality standards

• Team leadership and coaching

• Inventory and labor management

• Restaurant operations

• Scheduling and shift execution

• Problem solving and decision making

• Safety, cleanliness, and compliance

Once certified as a Shift Manager, you will:

• Lead a team during assigned shifts

• Coach and develop crew members

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences

• Ensure food safety and operational excellence

• Manage labor, inventory, and profitability goals

• Maintain McDonald's Quality, Service & Cleanliness standards

• Help build a positive, high-performing team culture

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Restaurant experience is helpful but not required

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
