Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Days - 8 Hour Shifts: This job is for 5-8 hour day shifts, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with some possible late days.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Active and Clear RN License
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• EPIC EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in the preparation of the operating room, including sterile setup.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the medical record.
