This position can work any day off the week, up to 25 hours a week. We are hiring for morning, daytime, evening shifts, ranging from weekdays & weekend shifts with a focus on hiring those with availability on weekends and early morning weekday.

Weekdays (Monday-Friday):

• Early morning shifts, 5:30am-10:30am
• Morning & evening shifts, 10:30am-8:30pm

Weekends:

• Saturdays, morning & evening shifts, 7am-7:30pm
• Sundays, morning & evening shifts, 9:30am-7:30pm

This schedule may be subject to change. Shifts are eligible to pick up open shifts from either morning or evening schedules and from any days an employee is off for sick or vacation time.

• Safe and Sick Time - Employees earn one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year unless the employer agrees to a higher amount. Must work at least 80 hours in a year for an employer in Minnesota. Can be used for: the employee's mental or physical illness, treatment, or preventive care; a family member's mental or physical illness, treatment or preventive care; absence due to domestic abuse, sexual assault or stalking of the employee or a family member; closure of the employee's workplace due to weather or public emergency or closure of a family member's school or care facility due to weather or public emergency; when determined by a health authority or health care professional that the employee or a family member is at risk of infecting others with a communicable disease.
• Time and a half pay for time worked on holidays if the facility is open

This position is responsible for providing a welcoming environment and excellent customer service to all park guests as Edinborough Park's first point of contact. Responsibilities include greeting all guests, operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, providing facility information and direction in-person and on the phone regarding the following: hours & scheduling, rules and policies, birthday parties and group rentals, park amenities, & memberships & fees. Reports to Edinborough Park Assistant Manager.

Essential Functions

• Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to sell all types of admissions, (memberships, day-passes, punch cards) and merchandise, as well as assist in birthday package sales.
• Greet guests answer the phones promptly giving complete and accurate information regarding facility hours, schedules, facilities, cultural programming, park or group rental information, birthday parties, etc.
• Keep accurate records of attendance by checking-in all guests of the facility.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Responsible for checking-in birthday party reservations, including providing instruction and directions for birthday party guests.
• Greeting groups, providing materials, directions and taking collecting payment upon group arrival.
• Performs opening and closing duties as requested. Maintains a clean facility throughout scheduled shift.
• Responsible for cash register operations, with the ability to accurately make change.
• Maintain a clean facility & personal workspace. This includes and is not limited to assisting maintenance in the cleaning & organization, set up & tear down of facility rentals, special events, and daily operations
• Enforces rules and policies of the facility, and does so in a respectful, professional manner.
• Arrives to work on time and when scheduled. Arranges for a substitute if necessary. Remains proactively productive with downtime.
• Provides excellent customer service by being friendly, tactful, and courteous and by always maintaining an alert and professional posture.
• Maintains professional appearance at all times as to both dress and personal hygiene.
• General Office and Administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• General office experience a plus.

Supplemental Information

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and work in a busy and at times loud atmosphere. Flexibility is a must. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
