Veterinarian

Boulevard Veterinary Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable veterinarian to join our small animal general practice in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. Our hospital recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of one of our veterinarians, and we are looking for someone to help us continue providing thoughtful, consistent care to our patients and community. We have an experienced support team, an established client base, and a collaborative work environment where each veterinarian's professional judgment is respected. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate's availability. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply. As a Veterinarian, you will have a key role in maintaining the health and well-being of animals. You will provide medical care, diagnose illnesses, perform surgeries, prescribe medications, and offer preventive care services. In addition, you will educate pet owners on nutrition, behavior, and overall pet care. Collaborating with veterinary technicians and other staff members, you will ensure the highest standard of care for all animals. Your work may involve treating a variety of animals, including household pets, farm animals, or even exotic species. Attention to detail, compassion, and excellent communication skills are essential qualities for success in this role. Continuous learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine are crucial to provide the best care possible. The ideal candidate for this position is a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent, with a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to upholding professional standards. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in surgery, dentistry, and extensive knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology are advantageous in this role.
